Online workshop on consortial funding for Diamond Open Access - What offers are available and how do they work?

In an online workshop of the BMBF-funded KOALA-AV project on 24 September 2024 (13:00 - 15:00 CEST), we would like to provide you with detailed information on various Diamond Open Access consortium offers. The workshop will mostly be in German.

Workshop agenda

  1. Introductory inputs from the consortium providers
    • Subject areas: Which subject areas are covered?
    • Costs: How high are the contributions for consortium funding for the respective institution?
    • Added value: What is the added value for the libraries?
    • Participation: How can an institution participate? (Deadlines, requirements, recurring cycles)
  2. Expert survey and exchange
    • After the inputs, participants can put their questions directly to the representatives of the consortium programmes.
    • There will be room for dialogue among the participants.

Target group

The workshop is aimed at library staff who are responsible for advice and/or decisions in the area of Open Access in their institution and who are interested in Open Access consortium models.
