The report “Konsortiale Open-Access-Lösungen aufbauen (KOALA): Erfahrungen mit Redaktionen und Verlagen” is published and freely available at doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.8127606 . The report (German only) documents lessons learned in the KOALA project (2021-2023) and provides best practices for libraries who wish to engage in with publishing houses and editorial boards for APC-free financing solutions. By sharing the experiences obtained in the KOALA-project, stakeholders (especially editors, publishers, consortium-leading libraries, acquisition managers and Open-Access officers of academic libraries, scholars in their role as authors and editors) are encouraged to disseminate such funding models.
