Workshops
The 4th Workshop at INFORMATIK2020, October 2020
On October 2, INFORMATIK2020 will host the 4th ORKG workshop. For centuries, scholarly work has been communicated using documents, in print and more recently in digital PDF documents. Given the current proliferation of scholarly literature and the increasing effort required to digest the literature even in narrow areas of research, it is time to rethink scholarly communication. The Open Research Knowledge Graph aims to capture key scholarly knowledge published in articles in a structured manner and enable novel and innovative services for scholarly knowledge processing. In this 4th Workshop on Open Research Knowledge Graph (ORKG2020) we will provide a brief overview of the initiative and an overview of the latest ORKG service developments, and hear about related work in lightning talks.
If you are interested in contributing a (lightning) talk or have other suggestions please contact us.
Note that the annual conference as well as the workshop are free of charge, but you need to register.

The 2nd Workshop, November 2018
On November 22, 2018, TIB will host the second workshop as a post-conference event immediately following the 13th International Conference on Data Integration in the Life Sciences 2018.
The 1st Workshop, March 2018
The first workshop was held on March 20, 2018, at TIB, Hannover. Attended by 40 participants, the workshop was a first opportunity to provide an overview of the research knowledge graph vision; for TIB to provide position statements on a possible architecture, user interface, and the conceptualization of core concepts; actively advance these aspects in parallel workgroups; as well as collect thoughts on knowledge graphs for research from external participants.
