New pledging period for expiring KOALA bundles in media and social sciences have started!

In recent weeks, the pledging periods for two bundles in media and social sciences have started.

The KOALA Media Studies Bundle 2023–2025 with two series of publications has been continued the same name by the Specialised Information Service for Communication and Media Studies (FID Media) for the funding period 2026–2028. The pledging phase runs from 25 August to 7 October 2025 (more information on participation: blog.fid-media.de/2025/08/20/koala-im-fid-media-das-bundle-medienwissenschaft/).

The KOALA Social Sciences Bundle 2023–2025, comprising four journals, will be continued under the name "SocioHub Journal Bundle 2026–2028" by the Specialised Information Service for Sociology. The pledging phase runs from 14 July to 15 September 2025 (more information on participation: survey.academiccloud.de/index.php/279198.

Both FIDs are supported by the Competence Centre for Licensing project with its service teams at the Lower Saxony State and University Library (SUB) in Göttingen and the Bavarian State Library (BSB) in Munich.
