IDAHO at Open Access Days 2025 in Konstanz

This fall, the IDAHO team will present the project’s major accomplishments at the Open-Access-Tage 2025 in Konstanz. The focus will be on the recommendations for publishers to help reduce barriers faced by researchers with weak institutional ties when publishing open access. These recommendations are based on three phases of the study:

  • A literature review on barriers to open access publishing
  • Qualitative and quantitative research with weakly affiliated researchers
  • Qualitative interviews with journal editors

Our presentation, titled Identifying and reducing barriers for weakly affiliated researchers – results of a mixed-method study,” is scheduled as part of Session 4: Dimensions of Inequality, which will take place on Thursday, September 18, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

This is also a great opportunity to meet the entire IDAHO team in person, outside of the TIB office, as the project comes to its conclusion this September.

We look forward to seeing you in Konstanz!
